Day 6 - Easter parade preparations. It takes many men to carry these floats through the streets. All the villages are in final planning for what is a very big Spanish tradition.

Just out of Estella is a winery that provides free wine to pilgrims. 100 litres per day of red wine. It helps to take the pain away. If you drink enough you forget that your back hurts or you have a sore toe. We loved it as did our fellow pilgrims.

Meet Angel - the only supermarket we'll probably ever go to and be greeted with a glass of wine from the owner. He of course joined us for a healthy slurp! .....hic!! We solved most of the Basque issues in a flash :)
