Looking over the bullfighting arena from the cathedral bell tower. Today we did a tour of the Seville bull ring, which is the oldest in Spain, 250 years. It added immensely to our understanding of this popular sport. It's such an immensely skilful craft for which the Matidor gets paid around EU150,000 per programme. He shares this with his team. I'd want every bit of that to get me anywhere near the ring, its incredibly dangerous. I saw 2 get wounded on the night i went. A fascinating and very technical sport.
