Sat. May 2 - Back to Santiago for the night. Been there got the t-shirt - couldn't help ourselves.

Have tried very hard to connect with Lara & Rudi who are doing the Camino Portuguese but sadly just can't get to them by bus or train and trying to hire a car is like mission impossible. A combination perhaps of language difficulties and the wonderful thing known as the Spanish siesta.... You never quite know who will be open & when.
Tomorrow (Sunday) we are off to Porto in Portugal, catching the midday bus for a 4 hour journey.
