Day 16 - Heading off after a night of illness (25.2 km)

Last night was a bad one as I was really sick and we were staying in a municipal albergue, very basic with a large dormitory of double bunks and an adjoining bathroom and kitchen. When we arrived in the afternoon there was a sick French pilgrim resting in a bunk who said he was 'kaput' and clutched his throat and coughed. We chose a bunk as far from him as possible. I started feeling bad and vomiting, not ideal when you have a night in a dorm. I put a bucket under my bed but managed to get through the night without needing it and without needing to run to the bathroom which was just as well because the noise would have woken the others. A Dutch pilgrim fell out of his top bunk in the night and crashed heavily to the floor hurting his knee and injuring the foot of an Australian on the way down. An entertaining night. I'm better now and walked 25.2 km today.
